Almogim and Gov Real Estate reported this morning (Monday, may 5th) the sale of an apartment in the “RAV KOOK RESIDENCES” project in the heart of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood in Tel Aviv, for 29,030,000 shekels. The buyers – a Jewish couple residing abroad – purchased an apartment with an area of 199 square meters, plus a 28 square meter balcony facing the sea. Construction is expected to be completed within about 20 months.
This is one of the most expensive deals recently recorded in the city’s luxury apartment market, and it adds to a growing wave of interest from buyers from abroad. According to the two companies, “Demand has been increasing especially since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, against the backdrop of the strengthening of anti-Semitism in many countries around the world. Buyers are not only looking for an investment, but also a safe haven and a realistic possibility of moving.”
The “RAV KOOK RESIDENCES” complex has been under construction since July 2022 with an investment of approximately NIS 400 million, and is located on the seafront, on the southwestern side of Neve Tzedek. The project covers approximately 3 dunams, and will include five buildings – three of which are for preservation, including the historic “Shaarei Torah” synagogue, which was established approximately 140 years ago by Rabbi Kook.
The project is expected to include only 18 apartments ranging in size from 150 to 500 square meters, along with 500 square meters of commercial space, which will be dedicated to galleries. The complex will include luxurious facilities: spa, saunas, Turkish bath, pool, gym, Pilates and yoga complex, concierge services and 24/7 security.
